The display of the G5 Gigabyte Laptop has a matte finish to it which is extremely beneficial when you are working directly under a bright light source.
The Gigabyte G5 MF has an Intel Core i5-12450H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD Storage. Avoid the 8GB RAM model which is limiting for multitasking.
All the body panels are of a matte plastic. The RGB backlight keyboard has a full set of function keys and a number pad, It’s a clever use of space.
The cooling technology comprises two gigantic fans and four heat pipes, which is okay.But the Gigabyte G5’s fans emit a uniform noise under load that is clearly audible.
GIGABYTE G5 has capacity of 48.9Wh – which is low for a gaming laptop. It’ll last around 4 hours on battery saving mode and the RGB lighting turned off. Might get a bit more with some tweaks.
